Complete procedures

Our dogs and cats come to us because their owners are moving, are not what they expected from a pet or because someone rescued them when they were running stray. Please consider whether you can make room in your home for a homeless dog or cat, or support their care monthly by electing to sponsor them through one of our programs.

Specific breeds

If you really want a breed specific dog that we do not have please call a breed rescue group. There are hundreds of breed rescue groups in the tri-state and nearby states that have homeless dogs seeking a family. Our Adoption Assistants at the shelter can provide breed specific rescue information.
